Outfit7, creators of Talking Tom and Talking Friends, invest in new brand and licensing talent

Angeles Blanco has been appointed Senior Licensing Director and Randeep Sidhu becomes Senior Brand Director. Blanco and Sidhu join the Outfit7 team, which has headquarters in Cyprus and subsidiaries in UK, Slovenia, USA and South Korea.

In the new role of Senior Licensing Director for EMEA, Blanco will advise the management team and implement Outfit7’s licensing strategy across the region. She will build on the growing roster of licensees and identify new agents to ensure Talking Tom and Talking Friends are available in all territories and in key merchandise categories. Blanco will also oversee licensing for Latin America, giving the company international representation together with colleagues in the USA and the recent appointment of Cindy Um to oversee Asia Pacific.

Randeep Sidhu takes on the newly created role of Senior Brand Director with the responsibility for advising on the global brand management of Outfit7’s portfolio of products. He will work with the company’s regional teams to develop the global brand strategy and positioning for Talking Tom, Talking Friends and the new Outfit7 entertainment properties under development. In this new role, Sidhu will also add value to the teams in Europe, Asia and the USA implementing media solutions with partners worldwide.

Both executives report to Outfit7’s Chief Operating Officer, Alessandro Traverso.

Blanco joins Outfit7 from DHX Media where she was Director of Licensing. She has more than 18 years experience in international licensing and has been involved in many high profile licensing campaigns including Yo Gabba Gabba! and Rastamouse.

Sidhu previously worked as a brand strategy consultant for Calling Brands and Lippincott consultancies. His clients included IKEA, Samsung, Orange, P&O Ferries and London Stock Exchange.
