“Talking Tom and Friends,” the new animated series led by all-star voice cast including Golden Globe®-nominee Colin Hanks (“Fargo,” “Orange County”) and Tom Kenny (“SpongeBob SquarePants”), makes its highly-anticipated premiere April 30 on the brand’s YouTube channel and the YouTube Kids app. Based on the wildly popular Talking Tom and Friends franchise, the series follows the adventures and hijinks of the optimistic gang as they make their own show from the (relative) comfort of Tom’s garage-turned-app studio.

From head writer Tom Martin (“WordGirl,” “The Simpsons”), “Talking Tom and Friends” also features James Adomian (“Comedy Bang Bang!,” “Gravity Falls”), Maria Bamford (“WordGirl,” “Adventure Time With Finn & Jake”) and YouTube star Lisa Schwartz (“Not Cool”).

“The new series brings all the fun-loving adventures of Talking Tom and Friends to screen in a whole new way,” said Samo Login, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Outfit7 Limited.  “From Tom to Angela, Hank, Ben, and Ginger, the family of characters continue to capture the boisterous spirit millions of fans have come to love.”

Outfit7 Limited’s Talking Tom and Friends are known worldwide from a series of mobile apps, which have been downloaded over 2.6 billion times and played by 250 million fans each month.  The 11-minute, 52 episode series premieres today, with new episodes airing each Thursday.  The prelude episode, “The Audition”, has been viewed a staggering 18 million times since it aired in December 2014, and can be viewed on the brand’s YouTube channel.  To quench fans’ excitement for more Talking Tom and Friends antics, shorts will also be unveiled regularly.
