In this role you will

  • Create a coherent game art style.
  • Maintain high aesthetic standards while crafting flow, visual storytelling, and progression.
  • Provide concepts, style guides, paintovers, and supporting documentation for clear, high-level visual direction and vision.
  • Motivate, mentor, supervise, and support all the artists internal and external with clear, consistent direction.
  • Assist in maintaining milestones and general art schedules.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of all milestones and deliverables.
  • Maintain the company’s high standards for art in terms of quality and style.

What we’re looking for

  • High level of creativity and originality, and the ability to adapt to a wide range of styles.
  • Ability to balance being the vision holder with obtaining consensus from a talented team of artists and game makers.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven, seasoned ability to visually express ideas and vision in an inspirational and exciting fashion.
  • Good understanding of bleeding-edge art techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in the English language (both written and spoken).

Your experience

  • 5+ years of games industry experience, with a track record of working on shipped games and a comprehensive portfolio.
  • Strong background in visual arts, with a solid understanding of 2D and 3D design principles.
  • Deep expertise in art related software, preferable - Adobe Photoshop and Figma.
  • Unity experience is a plus.
