The Team The Growth team is focused on maximising the potential of all titles Outfit7 ships. It brings together user acquisition, creative strategy, ASO, data, and product collaboration under one roof, with full-funnel accountability for the games in its portfolio. We operate across all lifecycle stages, from R&D and prototype validation through to global scale, across a range of mobile game formats. As our Distribution Analytics Lead, you'll build and develop a high-impact team that turns complex marketing and distribution data into smarter, faster decisions. From supporting a paid user acquisition strategy to incrementality testing, you'll define how Outfit7 measures, learns, and scales across every distribution channel, and you'll grow the people who make it happen.

In this role you will

  • Build, lead, and grow a team of analysts and data scientists supporting Marketing, Growth, and Distribution.
  • Set the Distribution Analytics roadmap and priorities, focusing the team on work with the highest impact on profit growth and channel performance.
  • Partner closely with Product and leadership to translate business goals into analytical initiatives, and influence strategic decisions with data.
  • Own and continuously improve measurement frameworks for paid user acquisition, including LTV, ROAS, predictive payback, and bidding inputs.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced measurement methods such as incrementality testing, geo experiments, and Marketing Mix Modeling.
  • Champion organic growth analytics, including measurement of store performance and the interplay between paid and organic.
  • Establish experimentation standards across A/B and quasi-experimental designs, statistical guardrails, and clear decision frameworks.
  • Set technical standards for the team, including clean and scalable data pipelines, reproducible analyses, and well documented internal tools.
  • Represent Distribution Analytics in cross-functional forums, communicate findings to senior leadership, and challenge outdated practices.
  • Stay close to industry trends in mobile gaming, performance marketing, and measurement, and bring relevant best practices into the team.

What we’re looking for

  • Leadership skills: you've hired, developed, and retained talent in data analytics.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect analytical work to commercial outcomes and prioritize accordingly.
  • Strong SQL skills and advanced proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis, modeling and visualization.
  • Deep understanding of mobile app economics, LTV and ROAS modeling, attribution, and channel performance measurement.
  • Hands-on in designing and running incrementality tests, geo experiments, and/or MMM.
  • Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, run thorough analyses, and turn results into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, you partner with non-technical leaders in Marketing and Growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • A positive, proactive, lead-by-example attitude.

Your experience

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics or data science roles, with at least 2 years leading a team (hiring, coaching, and developing analysts or data scientists)
  • Track record supporting Distribution: Paid User Acquisition, Performance Marketing, or Growth teams, ideally in mobile games or a comparable consumer app or digital business.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools, such as DBT and cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake), and BI tools.
  • Experience with ASO analytics and the interaction between paid and organic growth is a strong plus.
