Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of business law and international contracting from a legal perspective, including licensing, intellectual property, complex business partnerships, and all other connected aspects.
- Review, draft, and negotiate business agreements with a focus on intellectual property matters in China and worldwide, as well as licensing, mobile game development, media-related contracting, and all other connected actions, and the monitoring and implementation of worldwide compliance regulations.
- Use your business advisory skills during deal and contract negotiations, strategic discussions, and legal drafting.
- Give independent legal advice and opinions.
- Use legal management skills and tools, including managing registers of infringements and the consequent actions taken.
- Gather intelligence proactively and carry out investigations to find infringers.
- Advise the business in negotiations and strategic decision-making.
- Proactively manage and arrange for necessary compliance documentation.
- Cooperate with authorities, including tax, customs, and competition protection authorities worldwide.
- Manage activities in the field of rights protections and cooperate with external experts and colleagues.
- Gather and prepare evidence (or data) and documents for procedures in courts and other administrative procedures, and for other authorities.
- Review and draft international agreements.
- Prepare business and legal statements.
- Use and administer legally relevant internal registers and records.

Required skills- Law degree (university level).
- Ability to work as part of a young dynamic team in a fast-growing and rapidly-changing environment.
- Strong legal negotiation skills.
- Ability to connect the business and legal aspects of a given problem.
- Ability to use knowledge of various fields of law, with a stress on intellectual property law in the EU and the US.
- Proficiency in the English language (work will be almost exclusively conducted in the English language).
- Independent, resourceful, thorough, and committed working style.
- Broad general knowledge and deductive thinking skills.
- Keen to gain new knowledge and stay open to new experiences.

Required experience- At least five years (preferably more) of legal work experience.
- Experience in the field of licensing in an international legal environment.
- Very good knowledge of intellectual property law.
- Good understanding of criminal and civil litigation measures that can be used to enforce IP infringement.
- Knowledge of information technology, and mobile industry.
