Sharing your information

Restricted contact

We may restrict your access to our services if it is necessary to protect our staff from unacceptable behaviour, which is defined as abusive or threatening user behaviour, where a user is threatening or intimidating towards a particular member of staff or towards us in general.

We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic on our servers in line with government guidance on email security. Most email providers use TLS by default. We encourage you to check the security level of your email provider.

We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. You must ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

You should refrain from sending us any content forbidden by PRC regulations, such as content that:

  1. is against the basic principles of the PRC Constitution;
  2. endangers national security, leaks state secrets, subverts state power, undermines national unity;
  3. is harmful to national honour and interests;
  4. incites ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, or undermines ethnic solidarity;
  5. violates state religion policies or propagates cults and feudal superstitions;
  6. spreads rumours, disturbs the social order, or undermines social stability;
  7. spreads obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, incites homicide, terror or instigates crimes;
  8. insults or slanders others, or infringes the legitimate rights and interests of others;
  9. infringes the legal rights of intellectual property or commercial secrets;
  10. maliciously conceals the truth in order to mislead or deceive;
  11. releases, transfers, or disseminates advertising information and spam; or
  12. is otherwise forbidden by laws or regulations.

Retention schedule

我们会在有持续合法业务或法律需要的情况下保留信息。保留期将根据所涉及数据的类型而有所不同,通常我们会参考以下标准来确定保留期:

We retain information where we have an ongoing legitimate business or legal need to do so. Our retention periods will vary depending on the type of data involved, and generally we will refer to these criteria in order to determine the retention period:

  • whether we are processing a single job application, in which case we keep your information for up to 6 months after the hiring process is completed;
  • whether you have given us your consent to have your information kept in our talent file, in which case we keep your information for up to 5 years after the hiring process is completed;
  • whether we have a legal or contractual need to retain the data;
  • whether the data is necessary to fulfil a request you made to us.
