Communities all over the world are pulling together to get through the current coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency. We all need to do our part to help, whether it’s by working from home, social distancing, or by being extra vigilant with washing hands. We’re raising awareness of these best practices worldwide by sharing them across our suite of games. We’ve also donated 120,000€ to organizations in our local communities to give them the support they need.

Supporting Local Communities

Hospitals in some of the regions we work – particularly Slovenia – are under incredible strain. They are on the frontlines, caring for those suffering from the coronavirus. To aid them, Outfit7’s subsidiary in Ljubljana, together with the company’s owner Jinke, has donated to several hospitals in the area. With this donation, they will be able to buy more medical equipment and save more lives.

“Hospitals are doing incredible work right now,” said Xinyu Qian, CEO of Outfit7. “And medical workers are going above and beyond to care for people during this emergency. But they need help. This is a crisis of unprecedented proportions.”

It’s important for us to come together and do what we can. Our team in Barcelona has donated to an organization that will provide help to underprivileged families in the area who have been affected by the coronavirus.

As Xinyu Qian explained, “It’s our hope that our donation will relieve some of the pressure these families are under and help them get the support they need. We’re all in this together.”

Stay Healthy

Our games share joy and fun with the world, and now – during this time of crisis – they’re going to share helpful advice to #stayhealthy. Talking Tom and Talking Angela are sharing ways we can all look after ourselves and those around us, including reminders to wash hands and reassurances that staying home and social distancing are for the common good.

Together, we will get through this. Stay healthy, everyone.
