Photography and Filming Notice

Please be advised that photography and video recording will take place during the event.

Purpose of Photography and Filming

Photography and video recordings are made for the purpose of documenting the event and promoting and informing about the event. Images and recordings may be published on:

Outfit7 Limited and the organiser's website;
Outfit7 Limited and organiser's social media and other communication channels; and
promotional and informational materials relating to the event.

Legal basis

The legal basis for processing personal data is the legitimate interests of the Data Controller in documenting and promoting its events, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By attending the event, you acknowledge that photography and filming will be taking place.

If you do not wish for you or your child to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of the event team in advance or at any time during the event. We will make every reasonable effort to respect your request. Please note that it may not always be possible to avoid incidental inclusion in wide-angle or crowd photographs and video recordings.

Data retention

Photographs and video recordings will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Photographs and recordings may also be processed for a longer period if necessary to comply with regulatory requirements and/or applicable laws or to the extent necessary to protect Data Controller’s legitimate interests (for example in the event of legal claims). The retained content will be periodically reviewed and material that is no longer needed will be securely deleted or anonymised.

We may share photographs and video recordings with Outfit7 related companies (to the extent needed for the use described above), third-party service providers (such as service providers, agents, partners involved in production of images and recordings or organisation of the event) and, as described above, the public. For any content published on social and other global media, it may be possible for third parties to share, copy or save such materials.
Images and recordings may also be shared with a supervisory or similar regulatory authority responsible for the enforcement of the data protection laws or other authority upon their request.

Data Controller provides all the relevant technical and organizational measures necessary for safe processing of personal data.

You have the right to access your personal data, request its rectification or erasure, request restriction of processing, and object to the processing of your personal data where the applicable legal requirements are met.
