At Outfit7 Limited we are always on the lookout for voice talents that can help us on different projects, from games to marketing campaigns (trailers, teasers, promo videos). To find the voice talents that really fit us, we need to review and consider your professional experience and background, showreels, demos, voice recordings and audition tapes. As those usually include your personal data, such as your contact data, credentials and your voice recorded on voice recordings, we need to process such personal data. This Privacy Policy for Voice Actors (the "Privacy Policy") explains all aspects of such personal data processing.
For the purposes of testing and our further cooperation, we may share with you some non-public information relating to business, development, products or services of Outfit7, including product information, product roadmap, know-how, and any other information that due to its nature you should reasonably understand it to be our confidential information. You must maintain the confidentiality of this information and use it solely to fulfill our relationship as explained here. You must not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent from Outfit7, except as required by law. The obligation to maintain confidentiality extends also after our relationship ends.
If you decide to participate in Voice Talent testing, we will process certain personal data in connection with your participation. Such personal data includes i) your contact data (including e-mail address, full name, phone number) and your credentials, ii) your voice as recorded on your on showreels, demos, voice recordings and audition tapes you share with us or we take of you, iii) any information about your educational and professional background that is available from a publicly accessible source, and we believe is relevant in the selection process, (such as your profile on LinkedIn), and iv) any other personal information that you provide during our communication (collectively, "Personal Data"). We will process your Personal Data to assess and decide whether you are the right fit for us, and we want to enter into further cooperation with you.
The legal basis we rely upon in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and/or the UK GDPR is legitimate interest. We may also process your Personal Data as required by regulatory, enforcement or other authority (on the basis of our legal obligation), for performance of internal audits (on the basis of our legitimate interest or legal obligation) or for protection or defense of our legal rights (on the basis of our legitimate interest). Automated decision-making processes – including profiling – do not take place.
We may share your Personal Data with our related companies to the extent needed for assessment and decision, for entering into further contractual relationship, if needed, for the purpose of supervision or audits, or to defend or protect Outfit7 legal rights. We may, further, share your Personal Data with certain third-party service providers (such as email services providers, cloud providers and online tool providers) for the above-defined purposes. We may also share your Personal Data with any supervisory or any similar regulatory authority that is responsible for the enforcement of the data protection laws or other law enforcement authority or auditor upon their request.
Your Personal Data may be transferred to countries outside the EU or the UK, as appropriate, where the EU Commission and/or the UK Parliament has confirmed an adequate level of protection or where we can ensure careful handling of Personal Data by means of suitable guarantees (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). Information about this is available from us upon request.
We will retain and process your Personal Data for 5 years following the collection of Personal Data. During this time, you might be considered for cooperation with us on a project and we may contact you to arrange further details and procedure for cooperation. Your Personal Data may also be retained for a longer period if required to protect our position in the event of a legal claim or proceeding and/or in case we are required to comply with legal or regulatory requirements . After this period, we will destroy or anonymize your Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
In relation to the protection of your Personal Data, we provide all relevant technical and organizational measures necessary for safe processing and respect the applicable legislation governing the protection of Personal Data under the Data Protection Law.
You have the right to request information and access to your Personal Data, correction of your Personal Data, erasure of your Personal Data, restriction of processing of your Personal Data, to receive and to request the transfer of the data in a structured, common and machine-readable format to you or to another party and/or object to processing of your Personal Data, all by contacting us in writing by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. You also have a right to non-discriminatory treatment for exercising any of the rights described in this paragraph. You have the right to file a complaint to the competent Data Protection Authority if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 (the "GDPR")), the GDPR as implemented into the UK legal order (the "UK GDPR"), laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR, US state privacy laws, and to the extent applicable, the data protection or privacy laws of any other country (collectively, "Data Protection Law"), regarding processing of your Personal Data.
