Check out the game plan

  • Formalize value propositions by working alongside the product team and other stakeholders to help identify market opportunities.
  • Lay out the product team’s vision by helping with positioning, definitions of game pillars, and target audience(s).
  • Champion user-centricity throughout the product life cycle.
  • Establish the game’s consumer-facing identity and ensure that this identity is maintained consistently throughout the product’s life cycle.
  • Lead the marketing strategy definition in collaboration with all relevant experts.
  • Oversee campaigns, PUA, and B2B to drive installs and create brand awareness.
  • Provide briefs and guidance for the creation of marketing materials (PUA creatives, storefronts, social, etc.) to support the marketing strategy.
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders up-to-date on the marketing beats to foster alignment.
  • Leverage insights from various sources, from social to customer support, to assess the relevance of the game’s value proposition and positioning.
  • Contribute to app store optimization to increase discoverability and conversion.
  • Coordinate with the social media team (when relevant) on how to address and engage the user base and increase retention.
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance to relevant stakeholders.

Required experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the sphere of consumer marketing, ideally in online entertainment or social products.
  • Background in product marketing, with a good understanding and appreciation of broader marketing, ideally within online, consumer-focused live services.
  • Proven experience leading product innovation/development projects that have delivered sustainable growth.
  • Ability to execute a consumer-centric approach to marketing, helping the organization understand opportunities in a consumer-centric way.
  • Ability to connect teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Knowledge and passion for video games from hardcore gamers’ titles to casual social games, and entertainment as a whole.
